Hey guys!
I’m back with another season-themed post, this time for winter! Next week I’m going to be posting books perfect to read in Spring and Summer, so stay tuned!
Passenger by Alexandra Bracken
For me, winter is the perfect time to cozy up with an epic fantasy book, and Passenger perfectly fits the bill. It’s a time travel story about a violin prodigy named Etta, and the pirate she meets along the way.
Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige
If you’re looking for a book with a crazy adventure, look no further. If the title hasn’t already captured your attention, then the story following the next girl from Kanasas, Amy Gumm, who is trained to assassinate Dorothy, will.
The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer
I think winter is the perfect time to read this amazing series, mainly because the last book is called Winter. This is probably my all time favorite series, so if you haven’t read it, GO READ IT!
Up to This Pointe by Jennifer Longo
This book is set in Antarctica, so it’s perfect to cuddle up with on a snowy day. The main character, Harper, is a ballerina who’s struggling with the fact that she doesn’t have the right body for dance. She travels to Antarctica and goes on a journey of self discovery. I really loved this book and I wrote a review of it a while back, and you can read it here.
Every Day by David Levithan
In all honesty, the clouds sort of look like snow which is one reason why I picked this book. The other reason I picked this book is because it’s one of my all time favorites! It’s about a person named A who wakes up every day in a different body.
What is your favorite genre of books to read in the winter? Let me know in the comments!
xx,
Sophie
