Today I’m talking about a few of my favorite sequels. I have read so many books with sequel-syndrome, where they aren’t nearly as good as the first book. But I have also read a ton that I liked *even better* than the first book.
P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han
This book is the sequel to To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. I loved it so much, even more than the first book. It was such an addicting read, and I couldn’t put it down. I rated it five stars, which is much higher than the 3-star rating I gave TATBILB.
Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver
This is the second book in the Delirium triology. I liked Lena’s love interest, Julian, in this much more than I liked Alex in the first book. I really liked that we got a different view of the Delirium world and how the other people, besides Lena, live.
Fire with Fire by Siobhan Vivian and Jenny Han
Yes, another Jenny Han book! I really liked Burn for Burn, the first book in the series, but Fire with Fire was freaking amazing. Want to know why? Lillian and Reed. I ship them so hard, and I feel in love with them in this book.
Cress by Marissa Meyer
Okay, this is the third book in The Lunar Chronicles series, but it’s my favorite! Thorne is my favorite character, and I ship him so hard with Cress! I’ve read this book three times, I think.
