Hey Wishers!
Since May is coming to a halt (it flew by so fast!), I’ve complied a list of my favorite books that I read this month. I’m really excited to also announce that I’ve reached 1,000 likes on my blog! Thank you so much to anyone who has read, visited, followed, commented, etc!
The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson
Morgan Matson is the queen of summer contemporaries. Her latest book follows the daughter of a senator, Andie. When her dad is caught in a scandal, Andie’s perfectly planned summer falls to pieces. She loses her highly anticipated summer internship and desperately searches for a job. She becomes a dog walker, as you can see from the *gorgeous* book cover. One of her clients also happens to be an . With her group of friend, Bri, Toby, and Palmer by her side, Andie faces the unexpected. Maybe this summer will end up being one of the best yet.
A;KSDJFLKJS I am going to die from the cuteness of Clark and Andie! Frank and Emily will always be the best though 😉
Simon vs. The Homo Saipien’s Agenda by Becky Albertelli
Simon is gay, but he’s not out. An anonymous student, known to him as Blue, and Simon start to email and become really close. Both of them have developed a crush on each other, and Simon’s life is going great, until someone discovers their emails and starts to blackmail him. (It’s so much better than my description makes it sound like it is).
I listened to an audiobook of this and I absolutely ADORED it. It was hilarious, and Simon is such a lovable character. The audiobook was really fun to listen to, especially the emails. Warning: this book will make you want to eat a lot of oreos.
Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
TEARS. You will shed THOUSANDS OF TEARS reading this. I cannot wait for the movie on June 3rd! I’m going to post a Book vs. Movie review next Saturday.
Ugh, I am just so in love with this book.
The Last Boy and Girl in the World by Siobhan Vivian
I loved how relatable and unique this book was! The cover is also so stunning. Read my review of it.
Honorable Mentions:
- The Crown by Kiera Cass
- Attachments by Rainbow Rowell
- Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn
Did you guys read any really good books this May? Let me know below!

What’s Me Before You about? I’ve heard so much about it and I know Sam Claflin is in the movie but I have no idea what it’s about.

It’s about a man who is quadriplegic, Will, meaning he can’t move so he needs a caretaker to help him. Louisa becomes his caretaker, and they fall in love. Sam Claflin is going to be a really great Will!

I’ve never read any Morgan Matson books but from your raving review I’ll have to pick some up! I was supposed to read me before you before the movie came out but I don’t think it’s gonna happen, hopefully I can read it afterwards!

Loved almost all of them(haven’t read a few) with the exception of The Crown! Needless to say, I’m not an EricxEadlyn shipper. 😛

Yeah I thought they were a cute couple but I also really liked Henri and Kile.

I was okay with whoever she ended up with, really😂. As long as America and Maxon are together, everything’s good!
