Burn, Rewrite, Reread #3

Hey guys!

Today I’m doing part 3/3 of my Burn, Rewrite, Reread series, adapted from the tag. I had a lot of fun with this and I’m sad to see it go. Who knows, maybe I’ll bring it back eventually.

Anyways, I have spring break next week which means I’m going to do a Week of Reviews! From April 15th to April 21st I’m going to post a review or two every day.

So, let’s start the game!

Round 1:

Vicious (A Pretty Little Liar’s Novel) by Sara Shepard

I thought this was such a disappointing end to the series. Yes, pretty much every book had the same format (find a suspect, party at the end where they confront suspect, find out it’s not suspect) but I still enjoyed this series. Vicious was one of my least favorites, though.

The Revenge Playbook by Rachael Allen

This was a good book, but there were a few things I would change. Here is my review.

Rebel Belle by Rachel Hawkins

I LOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCH! I NEED LADY RENEGADES NOW! (It actually came out today so my copy will arrive soon.)

Round 2:

The Siren by Kiera Cass

I had really high expectations for this book because I love The Selection, but I ended up very disappointed. Here is my review.

All the Bright Places by Jennifer Brown

I know a lot of people would disagree with me, but this book wasn’t nearly as good as I thought it would be. It was kind of bland.

Falling into Place by Amy Zhang

This was such a heartbreaking, emotional story. I loved it so so so much. I recommend it if you liked Lauren Oliver’s Before I Fall.

Round 3:

Gossip Girl by Cecily Von Ziegester

The characters were selfish, the writing was bad. Not a good book.

Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon

Such a fabulous idea, but the characters fell flat for me. Madeline made a lot of desicions I thought were extremely stupid, and it was so similar to a ton of YA books already out there.

Every Day by David Levithan

This was such a unique and interesting book–I definitley would re-read it.

What did you guys think of this series? What books should I review for the Week of Reviews? Tell me below!

xx, Sophie
