The Inside Out Book Tag

I was tagged for the Inside Out Book Tag by Emma from The Book Crunch. Thank you!!

I saw Inside Out when it was in theaters over the summer. It was really cute, but also really sad. It made me cry.

A Book That Brings You Joy:

THE ONE

There are so so so many books that I could put in this category. I love The Selection series by Kiera Cass and The One is my favorite because of the ending (no spoilers!).

A Book That Brings You Sadness:

FIFTEEN LANES

This is a really important book about the red light districts in India. Although the story is fiction, these are real-life circumstances for millions of girls. It had me in tears and I really recommend that you read it when it comes out on April 1st.

A Book That Brings You Disgust:

EVEN WHEN YOU LIE TO ME

This book is about a teacher-student relationship and it was so gross. It’s illegal and disgusting. The characters were super cliche and there was some slut shaming, too.

A Book That Brings You Anger:

THE ODYSSEY

I had to read this for school and I absolutely despised it. The writing was so confusing and it was so long. Normally, I’m all for long books (bring on the page numbers!) but The Odyssey just kept dragging on and on. I thought it would never end.

A Book That Brings You Fear:

BEWARE THAT GIRL

I didn’t really enjoy this book but there were some creepy ass characters in it. I won’t give any spoilers because it hasn’t been published yet but omg this one character was SO CREEPY.
