Hey guys!
So today I thought I’d post about my daily eyelash routine. I have pretty average-length eyelashes, so I like to use a lot of mascara to make them look longer.
Step (1): Each night I use a little bit of “Rapid Lash” to help my eyelashes grow. It works amazingly well and I can definitely see a change even though I’ve only used it for a few weeks. It only contains six ingredients and won’t damage your eyes. A special bonus is that it can also work on your eyebrows. Warning: it’s pricey. You can buy it here.
Step (2): I curl my eyelashes with an eyelash curler. I don’t know what brand it is but you can get ones similar to it here and here.
Step (3): MASCARA. Confession time: I probably use too much. Maybe you shouldn’t be taking beauty tips from me… I usually use three a day, to make sure I get the full lash effect. My favorite mascaras are…
Maybelline Define-A-Lash: if you hate mascaras that clump this is a great one for you. It never clumps and is amazing for lengthening. You can buy it here.
Maybelline Great Lash: This one isn’t nearly as good as the other Maybelline mascara on this list. It has a really short brush and works better for your bottom lashes. You can buy it here.
Too Faced Better Than Sex: I use this mascara when I want a lot of volume. I got a travel-sized one and a primer from Sephora on Black Friday ($10), but you can get it for full price here.
Tarte Lights Camera Lashes: This one tends to clump a little bit more, but it’s a 4-in-1 product so it curls, defines, lengthens, and is volumizing all in one.
Benefit They’re Real: This mascara works amazing when applied properly. The biggest issue with this one is that you need to buy the “They’re Real” remover because the formula is so strong.
Step (4): Because I do use some mascaras that clump, as my last step I take either an old mascara brush that I’ve washed clean or a sample brush from Sephora and comb through my lashes with it. This is a really useful step that can clean up your whole eyelash look.
What are your favorite mascaras?
